B.B. Wolf
| Three stages of Mr. Wolf's head. By May 3, 2001,
I finished connecting all the splines in the head, but there
was still plenty of tweaking to do. By the 12th, I had added
a tongue and lower teeth, and tweaked the splines to look a
little better. Before the 16th, I added the upper teeth, and
adjusted control points to make the character look more like
a wolf, and less like a greyhound. The last image shows how
I laid out the splines to create the head. |

| On May 23, I finished the beginnings of the jacket
shape, and began one sleeve. By the 29th, I finished the sleeves.
I also managed the tough job of creating decent-looking hands.
They currently look good from the top view, but they still look
a little too skinny in the side view. I'm not completely
satisfied with the hands, so I may try to tweak them later. |

| On June 11, I rescaled the head, and put it into
position on the body. By the 17th, I attached the head to the
body, and added a shirt and tie. For about a year there, I
didn't have much time to work on him, but by September 20,
2002, I had added a more wolf-like head texture, and given him
a more believable eye color. Next step is completing the face
and skeleton rigging, and adding mouth phoneme shapes. I may
also change the color of his clothes. |
